Salary account automation (alpha)
We now present the next step in the automation, namely that you can set up of automatic accumulation based on normal working time.
This is an alternative accumulation rule that can be used for automatic accumulation when the balance is in hours, and your employees have odd normal working time weeks, e.g. working less than 5 days or not the same amount of hours every day.
In this scenario some customers choose to run the vacation balance in hours, and if the employees automatically accumulate 2.08 vacation days a month (like in Denmark), it is challenging to establish what one vacation day covers.
When accumulating based on normal working time, the system calculates one average days as the total hours in the normal working time week divided by 5.
You can then set up 2.08 * average working day in the automatic accumulation.
An employee works Monday-Wednesday 6 hours a day and Thursday 2 hours. In total 20 hours. The system calculates the average working day as 20 / 5 = 4 hours.
This way the employee accumulates 8.32 hours each month.
Am I on the right version of TimeLog?
If you are not sure, you can take a look at the front page of the system administration. If you do not see a number here, you are on an older version and need an upgrade of your TimeLog to the latest version.
