TimeLog version 2019 (6.2) - Release date 17 March 2020
Coordinator function for mileage registration
Many have asked for it, now it is here! We have added the coordinator function, as you know it from the timesheet, so you can help your colleagues register mileage in TimeLog.
Control hourly rates on fixed price projects
Based on the feedback we have received from you after we released our new hourly rates model, we now introduce the option to control hourly rates on standard fixed price contracts.
When your TimeLog site is set to calculate value based on the share of the total value registered, the hourly rates are copied to the contracts from the system administration. The fixed price contracts get an hourly rates tab that works the same way as for time and material contracts.
You can see the settings in the system administration. If you would like to change the calculation model, please contact our support to get help and guidance.
Add new hourly rates to projects via the amount indexation page
Another small adjustment based on your feedback.
The use case: You create a new hourly rate in the system, click cancel in the warning, but then realise that you do need the new hourly rate in your active projects anyway, what do you do?
Short answer: Use the amount indexation page to push the hourly rates to the active projects.
On the next page, you set your filter, select the projects you want to add the new hourly rates to in the list and click Index selected. Read more about how to use the indexation in our help text here.
Am I on the right version of TimeLog?
If you are not sure, if you can make use of the above mentioned features already, you can check the looks of your timesheet in TimeLog. If it does not look like this, you would need an upgrade:
