TimeLog version 2019 (6.2) - Release date 19 May 2020
Flexible salary periods, option to support 14 days salary - Important if you use an integration to your salary system
Our Integrations team have made an optimisation to our salary management to enable the use of 14 days salary periods and flexible periods in addition to the default monthly setup.
It is more intuitive and easy for the salary bookkeeper to manage the periods and to make sure all employees get the right salary at the right time.
We introduce a new term, pay period, where you can select 14 days, one month or a default period.
If you use an Advanced version of TimeLog with advanced salary management, you will be able to select the pay period on the employee cards.
Basic installations will not have this option, but employees are updated with the default selection made in the system administration. You can select between 14 days, monthly or an other pay period.
As default, everyone is set to monthly.
With this update, we remove the option to set up salary periods in the system administration, as it moves in as an integrated part as the Transfer salary data page. This page has two new filters for the pay period and the period selection. The start date will be locked to the date after the end date for the last salary period you did.
The salary period selection shows you the past salary transfers you have done and offers the option to add a new period.
In the salary periods page, we added more filters to enable you to manage the separate periods, so you do not risk transferring data for a period, which you have already completed in your salary system.
